Critical Ops (abbreviated to C-OPS) is a multiplayerfirst-person shootervideo game developed, and published by Critical Force. It was released to Open Alpha in September 2015 for Google Play and had been in beta until the full version (1.0) was released in November 2018.[4] Critical Ops is currently available on Google Play, Apple Appstore, and Amazon Appstore.[5] It used to be available on PC through Facebook Gameroom, but got shut down on July 10, 2017.[6]
Critical Ops is an objective-based, and a multiplayer first-person shooter, and it is influenced by Counter-Strike. The first official Critical Ops tournament was played in 2016. As of September 2018, the game had been downloaded over 34 million times.[7]
NHN Entertainment Corporation and Critical Force have published a completely different version of the game named Critical Ops: Reloaded in South Korea and in several other parts of Asia.[8]
Gameplay[edit]
Two opposing teams, The Coalition and The Breach, compete in game modes to complete objectives. There are five game modes: Defuse, Team Deathmatch, Gun Game, Ranked Defuse & Practice Mode (Team Deathmatch Only). The game can be played in two different ways - Quick Games, where players can select the game mode but are put on a random map on a random team. There can be maximum 5 people in a team in Quick Games. There is a warmup period before the match starts during which the minimum number of players required join. All the modes are part of the Quick Games. The room exits once the match is finished. Missions, Milestones and XP for Player Level & Critical Pass level are applicable for Quick Games only. The more the player kills and completes missions in Quick Games, the more they earn XP for Critical Pass level and Player Level, and also reaches Milestones. Custom Games, where players may choose rooms with desired maps, game modes, number of players, match/round time, number of rounds to win & various other settings, or host their own room with the above-mentioned settings, publicly or privately (password protected). Ranked Defuse is not available under Custom Games. Additionally players may spectate instead of playing, in custom games. Custom rooms do not exit unless all the players leave, instead a match starts once the previous one is over.

Playing first person shooters have always been a great past-time for people of all ages and from all walks of life. After all, they’re very easy to understand. Who doesn’t find the simple fact of pointing a digital gun at somebody and pressing the mouse button to fire difficult to master? Because gameplay is very intuitive, anyone can play FPS games.
Cat quest pirate treasure. All they need to know is which ones are good enough for them, and Critical Ops is certainly one game that should be short-listed by every FPS enthusiast. Every game starts with a tutorial, of course. In here, you have to go through the tutorial because it gives you in-game rewards at the end in the form of credits, the official currency of the game. Credits are used to purchase new weapon cases, as well as customize existing weapons in your inventory so you can ‘pimp’ them up and be unique. Thus, it’s not a surprise to find AK-47s with bright gold bodies or assault rifles with bright blue finishes and dragon decals on them.
That’s the extent of the personalization you can exercise for your weapons here in this MMOFPS game. To play, you will want to look at custom games created by other players or, if you’re really in a hurry, you can choose the Quick Match option. The AI will create the custom game for you and bring in other players that pressed the Quick Match option together with you. There are two popular game modes here in Critical Ops. The most common one is Team Deathmatch, in which you’re placed in a team with other players.
All you have to do is eliminate as many of the opposing team as you can before time runs out. The team with the most kills wins! On the other hand, you have the Defuse mode. The Terrorist team is tasked to plant a bomb and defend it against the Counter-Terrorist team, who is tasked with making sure the bomb doesn’t go off. If the Terrorist team successfully defends the bomb until it detonates, they win.
If the Counter-Terrorists manage to eliminate all members of the Terrorist team, they’d still have to defuse the bomb in order to score a win. In custom room games, you earn in-game cash with every kill you make. These cash can be used to purchase new weapons in every round, if you get killed in the previous one. You cannot bring your inventory weapons to custom games, unfortunately. Take a shot at completing the daily missions - they act like Quests, and, just like Quests, you get to earn credits from them as well.
Critical Ops is free to play via Facebook through its App Page, or through the Gameroom.
