Overall I really like Antz. For a first film this is really good. What makes this film stand out is the fact that the film takes its audience seriously and does not dumb itself down for the sake of appealing to kiddies. The film is gritty and has interesting message. Antz is a 1998 American computer animated adventure comedy film directed by Eric Darnell and Tim Johnson, and written by Paul Weitz, Chris Weitz and Todd Alcott. The film features the voices of Woody Allen, Sharon Stone, Jennifer Lopez, Sylvester Stallone, Christopher Walken, Dan Aykroyd, Anne Bancroft, Danny Glover and Gene Hackman. Antz is good but not as great as A Bug's Life which was its prime competitor in 1998. Passable for the kids. It likely won't amuse the adults very much when they discover it is a Woody Allen film. The style in Antz is much grittier. It isn't as perfect and smooth as a Disney production and the message is a lot stronger. The film is probably exciting for little children, thanks to the humor, fantastic images and action, but the underlying subtext and social commentary on humans make this movie different from Disney's moralizing films. Yeah thats stock clocks iirc? 4Ghz base then Turbo to 4.4Ghz?I too have an i7 and the thing is that not all games are multithreaded and will only use 1 or 2 of those logical cores.Many MMO just run on 2 logical cores. There are some game like GTA4 that will make use of those logical cores in your i7, with the load spread across more logical cores clock speed becomes less improtant.With games like Tera that dont scale well across mant cores, your better to have faster cores.I myself have a few overclock profiles i set up in my bios for different scenarios. I have one thats a low overclock for just web browsing and Facebook etc, another with Hyper Threading disabled 4.4Ghz and another for 4.2Ghz Hyper Threading enabled.If you were looking to get the most out of your CPU for a game that only runs on a few cores and had disreagard for heat output and power consumption then turn off Hyper Threading as it almost always enables you to reach a higher stable core speed.
