The thing I don’t think is right and totally unfair is at the pay out when you state that “Tied players split the reward”. Why should they have to split it versus each receiving that amount? Think about it this way. First player has 100 points and second player has 99.

They would both get their points. But if they tie at 100 they only get 50??? This weekly tournament is more easily attainable than the old tournament and coins are never very high but to make the tie be split is selfish on the developers part.UPDATE: (April 12, 2018). Now I can never seem to earn more coins because the ads to earn 5 coins is always “unavailable - try again later” This happens more frequently than not. STILL VERY DISAPPOINTING. We have to watch ads to earn coins -You need to get better updates to earn a 5 star rating!!!!!(From October 5, 2018). I really enjoy this game. It's one of my favorites. However I didn't like the fact that when signed up for a survey to earn more coins (something like 40) and after spending over 25 minutes answering a lot of questions (many repeat questions too) I was only given 7 coins.

I am ok with watching ads so if you want a 5 star rating then give me the coins I earned for participating in the surveys. Shoebox lady, Rating. Love the game, but free earned coins format is lacking.Still 4 stars because of the ads now lately. One or two are shown over and over. The war one repeats all the time and half the time doesn’t give you the coins or freezes.

Game play stops in the midst of plat once in a while, too, which is annoying. Game hops from one part to another during play at times as well. Ads are better now. I will not buy coins.

I love the free ad views for free coins, but lots are public service announcements that repeat too much. Took off ads that were just fun or gave a safe challenge or preview of how to play. Love the golf play ads. Don’t mind the ads for free points. The bonus puzzles are nice for people who are here for a great game & challenge. Lots of us just love this game!

Also words with friends. All in all, still a great game and I love it.I still love both games. But lately the ads repeat over & over, time after time. Wish they would not show the same ones over & over. Best games play, however, that I’ve ever had! Like the extra puzzle. Great game ( crosswords) Like to play individually.

Pulpfictionfan, Enjoy the GameI play this pretty much every day and I really enjoy it. The puzzles are pretty simple and I feel like I am exercising my mind. There are some rewards for various goals, like some of the rewards offered for solving puzzles on a regular basis, that make it even more fun, because who doesn't enjoy a challenge?

That is what helps draw people to the game, right? However, some of those goals are pretty hard to earn.

If the rewards are not worth the effort, or if they are too out of reach, the added draw no longer a draw.There are some reasonable options on earning coins if you don't want to pay for the game. It is more expensive to play this game than buying a magazine of puzzles in the store, and both of those options have their own benefits.If I were designing this game I would work toward getting more people to play by keeping the cost to play down so more people want to pick it up and play it. The fact that it's an offshoot of Words with Friends only makes Crosswords with Friends more enticing.I hope the creators keep up the good work!
